Description:

Swabhasha is a new Telugu transliteration keyboard that allows users to type phonetically in English and convert it to Telugu. The keyboard features a mixed language mode enabling seamless use for typing in English alongside the ability to convert to Telugu with a simple tap on the suggested transliteration.

While typing, the Telugu words are displayed on the top bar, and the corresponding English letters appear within the application. Users can easily replace the English text by tapping on the Telugu word or by pressing space to maintain the English input.

Mixed Mode Typing: Swabhasha caters to users who frequently incorporate a mix of English and Telugu words in their communication, whether through email, iMessage, WhatsApp, Facebook, or other applications. The keyboard provides a solution for frustrations caused by automatic correction of Telugu words during phonetic typing.

Use in All Apps: The Swabhasha keyboard is compatible with various applications such as contacts (allowing for entries like "amma"), reminders, notes, emails, and multiple social networking platforms. However, it is important to note that the keyboard cannot be used for entering passwords.

Predictive Prompts: Featuring predictive prompts for Telugu letters being typed, Swabhasha simplifies the process by suggesting different character options based on user input. This feature enhances typing efficiency and accuracy, especially for complex phonetic sequences.

Auto-correction for English: Swabhasha also functions as a standard keyboard for typing in English, offering automatic spell-check and capitalization assistance. This versatility positions Swabhasha as a viable default keyboard option for iOS devices.

Simple Notepad: In addition to its keyboard functionalities, the app includes a straightforward notepad where users can input text in English using a regular keyboard and obtain a Telugu translation. The Telugu text can be conveniently shared via email or saved to notes, making it a valuable tool for converting transliterated English text into Telugu effortlessly.
